Amendment Application

Submit your Amendment application here.

Amendments to the Constitution or Bylaws may be proposed to the Representative Assembly by one of the following methods:

  • by petition signed by at least twenty-five (25) active and/or education support members OR ten percent (10%) of the members of a local affiliate
  • by a majority vote of the membership or major governing body of a local affiliate
  • by a majority vote of the Board of Directors
  • a majority vote of the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules Committee 

Each Amendment shall include a brief written rationale and be properly signed. 

This form is considered a submission to the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules Committee through the President.

An Amendment shall be submitted to the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules Committee via this form no later than 11:59 P.M. on January 5, 2025.
